Network Adapters

I am working on a mobile data laptop with Win 2k os. It has an external modem to connect to the local govt information network. The program is called Radio IP. We now need the internal wireless network adapter to connect to an inhouse records mgt system. Is there a way to dictate, or create a shortcut, keystroke, etc to tell the computer which network adapter to use for the different applications? Currently, the Radio IP program is the dominate one in the system and it has to be disabled even to connect to the internet with a CAT 5… Thanks…
