Network Backups

Hi,
I am currently looking into different ideas how to scale up the backup process and was wondering what other people user.

Currently we have two servers. Both servers are backed up using Veritas Backup Exec. We are planning to introduce another server in the short term.

I am thinking that the best way forward would be to identify a backup device that could be plugged into the domain rather than a server and backed up the data to a data cartridge.

Does such a device exist? What does everyone use? Obviously there is no comparison with this and a huge corporation with 100’s of servers. Price will be a big factor.
