Network Connection

I have Windows XP Home Edition…I also
connect through a dial-up AOL
service…However when I look in my computer
at the network connection…it says my AOL is
disconnected and another connection is
“enabled”…This is perplexing to me since I do
not have any other LAN, except by a telephone
modem???HELP ME SOLVE THIS
MYSTERY…Also, does anyone know anything
about Remote Desktop Control???
