I have a small Internet (frontpage) application (on a NT box = NT1) that uses some databases (SQL)residing on another one (also NT=NT2). Recently I had to reinstall the Token Ring card on the NT2, everything looks fine but the application on NT1 times out all the time ever since. More than that from the NT2 I can’t even access the web page on NT1 anymore. All the other wkstn’s can access the web page, but when launching that particular app., the operation times out.
I’m thinking maybe I missed some services or protocols when I reinstaled the NIC on NT2?
By the way the NT1 is on Ethernet (it’s a mixed network).
NT2 has and definitely used to have only the TCP/IP protocol. I know the changes has to be made on NT2, but I’m out of ideas for now.
