Network connection not visible

By peterbakker ·
Win XP pro

Network connections are not visible in net work connections.

Yet they are there hidden and it is possible to dialup and connect to the internet.

It says to turn on the network connection services, but when I go and look it looks like the service is running ok.

What is the solution for this problem, need to access the dialup connection to turn on the firewall.

Regards Peter

Don't know if this is an expert answer...but just recently, i noticed this issue when my network was infected with the W32.Blaster.Worm virus. You may not even have this virus, but if you aren't sure...go to under downloads and download the removal tool and patch for this virus. Reboot your computer after both are installed and you should be able to view network connections.

Good Luck.
