My hard drive recently crashed and it was only one month old. Anyway when I got the new drive in and reloaded the way I wanted it, I joined the domain. The domain account was successful and I could connect to it.
I only connect as needed to my network for security reasons. About two weeks after I rejoined the domain I needed to do a search on a database on the network and I could not connect.
I read an article today about Vista and what it is going to do if it thinks you are using a pirated copy. The article mentioned nothing about not connecting to a network but I can still connect to the Internet and ping every unit that has an IP on my network.
Anyone have any ideas.
