Network Design

By rickyyuhello ·
I have recently designed to build my home network with Win 2000 Server and client Win.2000 Pro.
Can anyone tell me how to do it step by step. I know it is hard to tell in detail. But I only need to know very basic steps, such as TCP/IP, Active Directory, and DHCP set up. Or you can show me web site or article so I can read and go step by step.

if you want just build a home network, and not more, click on Network Properties on 2 computer then install client for microsoft networking protocol.
now enable file and print sharing on both PCs.
Now, Check cables and find computers in Network Neighborhood. You can Share Resources now.

Good Luck
