I’m running Win2K V5 Professional on a Thinkpad A20m. I’ve setup 2 Dial-up Connection profiles. Both profiles work – that is they allow me to make the connection. The problem is that there is no indication that there is an active connection. No icon is placed on the task bar, and if you look at the icon in the network and dial-up connection folder – it is displayed as “disconnected”. The only way I can disconnect from the remote connection is to restart or unplug the connection. Can’t find anything in properties that might address this.
