Network Essentials

Im am steping stepping into the IT world. Have had lots of experience in computers, little or none in IT. I am now enrolled in the course of MCSE, I feel so lost. There are lost of terminolgies I dont understand and I feel like with out this I will not sucessfully pass these exams. Where should I start? How can I get basic understanding of networking? what materials should I read. Please help!

Start with an A+ class

This may not be what you want to hear, but if you are lost in Networking Essentials, you need to start with the fundamentals, which an A+ class will teach you. Please tell me that you are taking Windows 2000 and not NT4. You do not have a lot of time to get certified in NT 4

its a good idea to start with an A+ course. it gets you prepared and skims the edges of networking and the IT world. its about 10 months and helps alot.
