I have need of some techniques to determine who created a network folder on a Windows 2003 server. I need to do this from the desktop and without contacting the server people. The data is non-business related and appears to have been created by a server admin. The head of IT would like to easily determine who put it there without them knowing. Is there an easy way to determine who created it, who accessed it last, note activity, etc in this fashion?
The properties page for the folder, and subfolders, does not show the Security tab. So you do not get anything from that.
