Network Link Speed - Registry

By chrisamcp ·
I am researching creating a reghack or script to set the default of all network adapters too 100 full duplex. The default in Win2k is auto. The location that I have researched in the registry is

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000\Ndi

It appears to change per network vendor but is always located under the key name listed above starting with (4D36E972...).

Does anyone have a script or reghack that could set this automatically?

Thanks,

I can't tell you about how to make a script, but if you look at the ini files that come with the ethernet card drivers, there is a line that tells the installation how to configure the installed card and what to put in the registry.
Maybe you can start out from there.

Hope this help in some way!
