2 tools

i have used both
3com network supervisor and intermapper.
both do snmp based discoveries and can be set to alet you when a piece of network equipment goes down. they also allow you to watch bandwith accross specific links. intermapper allows ceration of graphs and such. this is great software for keeping you network up.
you can setup other tools to alert you when an ms server goes down.
question when a server goes down you have to address that immediatly right? so isn't there a rough estimate of uptime just by saying it crashed once in the past month.
