In a peer-to-peer network I have a Dell notebook workstation connected to a docking station with the proper network identification, protocols, mapped drives and file sharing, as does the other workstations on the network. However, the network neighborhood folder does not appear to be updating, showing all the workstations that are up and running at that time. But, viewing the “Entire Network’ folder and the entire network icon all the workstations that are running are shown and they can be accessed. Why is the Network Neighborhood folder not reflecting the proper workstation listing? This is the only workstation in the network with this problem. This is a Windows ’95, ’98, ME operating system network. The notebook is running ‘ME’.
