Network Neighborhood w2k server

By Wagman ·
I have a w2k server. It is setup as a dhcp server and has a login script setup for the clients. Here is the thing....Login Script works fine and I can do the Start / Find / Computers and I can find the server and browse it. I also see the "Net Use" drive in the explorer...What am I missing....I can not see the server in the win98 client network nghbrhd....Any ideas?

I had to set my setting under Administrative Tools> services>browse to MANUAL to get mine to work under DHCP with win98 clients in a win2k environment, it was enabled but only on automatic, could a browse a thing.

Win2K is designed to locate devices on the network using DNS. All older windows OS use NETBEUI to browse networks. Try adding the Microsoft NETBEUI protocol to your server and Windows NT and 9X computers will be able to brouse it.
