Network point freezes everyone out

I recently added a new point to an NT Server network. The problem comes in when I try to connect a workstation to the network. others on the network can’t get access to network resources. I’ve already tried installing a fresh copy Win98 SE as well as checking the terminations both at the hub and at the workstation but everything seems to be in order. How can i resolve this?
