Network Printer

By islnd_boy ·
What should I do in this situation. I have a network printer on one off the subnets. located at a remote location. when I am at my desk I try to ping the prrinter's ip addres but I get a time out. when I go to the location where the printer is locally and ping that same printer I get a reply. Let me also mention I can ping other devices on the subnet as the printer locally and remotely and get a reply

Printer Default Gateway

by Churdoo In reply to Network Printer

... in the network setup of the printer itself.

Print the config page from the printer and inspect the printer's network settings, I'll bet a thumbs up that the default gateway is not set or is set incorrectly.
