Network Printer

I have an HP laserjet printer that is currently connected to a host that needs a drastic overhaul. I want to take the overhead off of that PC and put it on one that has an updated system. My network is a peer to peer mxed 95, 98, 2000me. My question is how do I connect the printer directly to the network (it is network ready),set up a server for it, and have it show up on the network? It is already configured with an IP address and Subnet mask, and I was able to ping it.
