I have some Windows 98 machines in remote offices. In one office, the network printer ocassionally disappears from the user setup. Then when the user goes to print something, they get an error stating that they need to setup a printer before they can print. When they try to re-setup the printer, they get an error that the printer is offline. After rebooting the computer, the printer re-appears. This happens randomly. A user can print one document just fine, and receive the error on the next document. Can someone please tell me what is going on here?
