network printer from login script?

Can a network printer be setup in a login script? I would like to be able to add a couple network printers to our login scripts, if possible, like I have network share drives and private drives assigned. Can this be done? The login server is NT4sp6a, most workstations are NT4 and a couple W2K and a couple XP. I have tried these –
NET USE \\COPYROOM\HP5SI: \\COPYROOM\HP5SI
doesn’t work, and
NET USE LPT1: \\COPYROOM\HP5SI
doesn’t work because I have a local printer on LPT1. Tried in both XP and W2K.
