Network Printer port

I have installed a network printer port but something is not good.I want to delete it but the print server tell me that I can't. How can I do this?

first, on the printer, change it to use the lpt1 port.
Then you can delete the networkport via ports (control panel), after that you can delete the printer itself.

For some reason some times when you build a Network Printer Port it stays locked, so you can not rename it or delete it. I think that you should change the printer location to Com1, Com2 or Local LPT1, once this is done Stop the spooler service (Go to Control Panel, Services, Spooler, then stop this service), refresh and then start it up again.
Now you should be able to delete this printer port.
