Network prob w/ Maxtor external drive

I’m a home user with a small wireless LAN.

My new Maxtor 3000LE hard drive works fine on the machine it’s attached to (runs XP professional). I created a shared folder on the Maxtor drive, which the other machines on my LAN can “see” but not access. When I attempt to open the “Maxtor” drive or folder from the Windows 2000 Pro machine, I get the message “Not enough server storage available to process this command”. The Windows ME machine gives a message that implies I can’t access the Maxtor b/c I’m out of RAM (highly unlikely). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
