look here
http://grc.com/lt/leaktest.htm
and if you choose to do testing, do it during off hours to avoid impacting others on your network.

WIN98 inherently is very insecure. Before checking your connection security, revamp your clients OS. You will achieve more than trying to secure WIN98.
Remember: every security system is only as good as its weakest link (in this case your clients OS).
Good luck

Agree that Win98 is not secure. If you can't go to Win2K on the desktop at least make sure you have to log onto the network to boot up.

STAT from Harris is a network vulnerability scanner that was specifically designed for MS, it also lets you immediately fix some of the problems. InternetScanner form ISS and Cybercop from NAI also work ok. Nessus is a free scanner that runs on Linux and has recieved good reviews so far.
http://www.networkintrusion.co.uk/scanners.htm has the best overview of scanners. I can provide you more info in this area if this is what you were looking for.

I also know of a few folks that are using VPNs to get their DSL users into the network behind the firewall.
