Network Sharing Without Password

by mchapel . Updated 18 years, 11 months ago

Ok, so here’s the deal. I have a wired network through my house with about 10 computer connected to it. I have a server computer that has 4 hardrives which store movies, music, ect. I have these hardrives shared throughout the house, and the computer does not require a password, but when I go to another computer and try to login I am required to put in a password that does not exist. If I go back on the server computer and create a password, then try to log onto it again it works. Although most would say this is a good thing, I need the server not to have a password. Any help is appreciated.

James
