Got an application playing up on a production box and need to isolate a few things. First thing we suspect is the network as the data is being pulled across a WAN.
The applcation works ok but then suddenly all users screens freeze but after a couple of seconds the application starts to perform ok again.
Can any tell me if there is an application i can use which will basically run and tell me how much traffic/packets are being passed and if they drop when my app freezes i would then call in a more experienced networking guru.
End users are using windows XP Pc’s
Applcation runs on a Windows 2003 server
Application servers tal to an oracle DB runnig on AIX 5.3 server
