I’m an IT Specialist for a small business. We run Small Business Server 2003, with several XP Pro machines. There are about 7 printers networked through different Print Servers. There is a problem with 2 printers 1) HP Laserjet 2605N and 2) HP Laserjet 3550n. Both seem to have weird issues I’ve never encountered before. Right now, 2 users are showing the following error anytime they print:
Function Address 0x4f65a5aa caused a protection fault. Exception Code 0xc0000005. Some or all property pages may not be displayed.
They will not print in color for everyone else in the office. However, from the server, and my XP Pro PC they print fine (no error message and in color). Also on the other XP Pro machines the Print Que shows numerous files in “delete” state. This is not shown on my XP Pro machine or the Server.
I have tried several fixes from HP’s site and other searches. Mostly uninstalling the Printers and Drivers, and reinstalling. Still having the same issues.
Just wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
