I have a 500MHZ PC with 128 RAM, and have just recently installed win2K on it. The only problem I have is most days it is very slow to access our accounting package, which is on a Win2K server. All the Win95,98 and NT workstations have no problems. This is an on going problem, however maybe twice in a month it runs fine, I have yet to figure out what to look for next. The PC connects just fine to the server and I have looked at all the Tcp/ip address and all is fine. I do get a couple warnings in the event view every day. One is windows time service was not able to find a domain controller and the other is system failed to register network adapater settings. What else can I look at.

Have you checked your NICs speed - alot of cards that I find work better if set to AUTO instead of fixing the speed. Also, W2K seems to take longer to connect to a different PC then a 9x or NT machine does. The time server message (if on workstation) is because it cannot find a time server for the domain. You can fix that by making your server a time server.
