I need to know how to do the following with the following equipment:
Ok on my main computer which is a desktop i have a broadband connection, and i have a wireless router on their. that computer is running windows 98 and its a basic computer. now on my laptop which has built in wireless. i figured out how to get wireless internet with the router and everything, but i need to know how to network it. i want to share the printer thats on the 98 and all the files on the 98 so i can access then on my laptop which has XP pro runinng. i got the internet runinng on the xp, i just need to know how i can print from the XP laptop to the computer running 98 that is attached to the printer. please help i need this ASAP. Thanks

Firstly, i do think that you need a wireless access point in order for you to connect your laptop to the network.

Its good to connect the broadband to the router and configure both using your main desktop.

Share your printer among the network and you should see it on your laptop 'network place'

For surfing, point your laptop wireless connection to your ISP DNS.
