i have been experiencing drop outs on the d-link 504T router where it knocks down the VPN connection with a synchld iptables error 457. The vpn has to be physically rebooted to get back on. are there any suggestions for what could do this every day at the same time of day. i have had the line checked i have renewed the switches 2X16 port D-Link switches. the other network guy at the premises says its the router and wants to put in a billion wireless vo/ip router that can segment the 23 computer network with vlan capability and stabilize the network adsl connection. can i get some feedback on this problem and what suggestions are for routers with vpn vlan and 4 port. i was thinking of going to linksys.
