I am trying to network 2 computers together using Windows 98 SE. One computer has 2 NIC’s in it. One NIC for my incoming DSL line and the other NIC for an output to the other computer. All of the NIC’s are working for both computers, except for on the second computer the NIC doesn’t seem to be binding to the TCP/IP protocol. Both computers can see each other on the network and they can share files and print. The problem is that the second computer can’t use the internet. I tried to use internet connection sharing, but that screwed up my DSL connection. I made sure I used a crossover cable between the 2 computers but still the internet won’t work. Does anyone have any ideas??
