    Networking weird issue

    Hi there,
The house I live in now, has by default internet from Vodafone (it s a business line shared between 2 apartments).
From the vodafone adsl router, 2 wires run along until they are in a wall socket inside both apartments. Now…the fun part is:
    – connecting my router (vodafone gigabox) to the wall socket – internet is not working
    – connecting my laptop directly via same wire to wall socket – still nothing…ethernet connection is not even noticed
    – connecting via same wire to a tp link router TL-WR841N – internet works O.o
    – connecting another router (that is tested as well and works at my neighbors TP-LINK Archer C60 WiFi Cable & Fibre Router – AC 1350, Dual-band) does not work

I literally don’t understand what ‘ s wrong and what i should check in order to fix it and use a proper router…as even with the one and only that functions….i have 4mbps dwd 3 upl while i should have 73 and 16.

    Thanks!
