Networking/Win2K textbooks
LockedI teach Networking to High School students. I have been informed that next year I will be migrating to Windows 2000 from NT 4.0. I have not been happy with the textbooks and curriculum previously chosen for this course and I would like to ask the professional IT community for recommendations on textbooks for my students. Many of the students have no knowledge of networking, so texts that cover everything from networking basics through a working knowledge of Windows 2000 is needed. This is atwo-year course.
In looking at the Microsoft Press site, I found the following series that I was considering. ALS Networking Essentials, ALS Windows 2000 Server, ALS Win NT Network Admin, ALS Windows NT Tech Support. Any comments, pro, con or indifferent?
Thanks for any input!
