I have recently added a Vista machine to my network that has an old 98 SE machine and an XP Media Edition machine on it. All of the machines see each other on show up on the network list. However, on the 98 machine, it wants a password before letting me get past the Vista machine icon. On the XP machine, it shows all of the drives/files, but says I do not have authority to access them. The vista machine can go out to all of the files on the other machines. I have allowed sharing on the files in the Vista machine. Anyone have a suggestion on how to get access to the Vista machine? Thanks to all.
