I installed a 10Gb hd on an older system due to a disk fault but when tryng to partition and format the disk from a 98 boot disk using Fdisk, the utilities can only see 16Mb.
After fomating and looking at the drive with Fdisk again, the partition shows as an FAT12 16 Mb active partition.(yes I said fat12) Any attempts to add extended partitions do not work as Fdisk say there is no more space.
The old failed disk was 2Gb and ran W95. Can any one help.
