Windows will not boot after upgrading my CPU from 1.24 to 2.4 gigs. I had to change my motherboard after it failed. I was able to reinstall window afterwards but not now I am trying to change the CPU. I’m pretty sure its Windows stopping me. It thinks it’s a different PC. Is there anyway of getting round this. I’ve e-mailed and rung Microsoft about it no luck, because it’s OEM.
