'New' Elvis covers - Suspicious Minds

The King's vocals over a new instrumental track. I prefer the original arrangement. Heck, I prefer the version by the Fine Young Cannibals over this one.

When alien historians are digging through the debris, they'll identify this as the beginning of our end.

IMO he only had 3 good songs. This one is one of them and I don't like this version.

I didn't like Elvis because that would have been terribly uncool.

Now? I have appreciation for his music. Never going to be my favorite.

I'm not a big fan but I will complain anyways

To be absolutely consistent.

I hear covers all the time. When I hear them on the radio and start my rant about this generation, my kids start the eye roll because they know I'm going to make sure they hear the original.

And rarely is the cover better.

There wasn't anything wrong with Elvis's intrumental track from back then, it was appropriate for the time and genre.
