My current HDD is showing signs of failure (new Windows XP 5 times this year) but the partitions have been sound. I have a second HDD with Windows XP on it, but it’s Disk 1 not 0. How do I make new HDD the primary bootable? It is on a separate cable from the MB and shows itself as Drive 1. Windows is on G partition on the new drive. I want to move everything from the old drive to this one and then install another new one for my weekly Backups. ATA, not SATA. MB is not SATA compatible. Write slow because I am slow to pick this stuff up ;-). Questions? Let me know. Thx.
