I have to build a new machine with Windows 2000 to run some proprietary software (for a digital photolab). The motherboard in the old machine is on it’s last legs and the system needs replacing soon. I have tried running the proprietary software on an XP machine in compatibility mode and in a virtual machine, both with continual crashes.
Can anyone tell me if any of the current (April 2011) hardware will run Windows 2000? I just need a motherboard, CPU and RAM. Thanks for your help.
