Windows XP Pro x64
Suddenly i am confronted on startup with a dialog box stating that new hardware has been found, yet doesn’t state what new hardware.
Then it goes through the cycle asking for companion CD and eventually can’t find driver.
I haven’t installed any new hardware, the above just started one day on boot-up and can find no way to eliminate this annoying problem.
I have seen this mentioned once before, but can find no effective cure. I would be grateful for any advice given
