By randerson7 ·
New HDD during "fdisk" says "No partitions are set active-disk one is not startable unless a partition is set active." Hitting option 2 to set active partition, the screen "Current fixed disk drive:1". i cannot make any changes or set an active partition. Can anyone guide me on this?

If you have just run FDISK and not the Format option after a reboot you'll be unable to set a non-partitioned area as Active.

Also if this is a new clean unused HDD you need to run FDISK to create at least 1 partition and then format it, from your description you don't appear to have a valid Partition available.

USE PARTITION TABLE DOCTOR, IT WILL WORK 4 U, WITHOUT DAMAGING THE CURRENT PARTITION TABLE & IT WILL ALSO ABLE TO SET ACTIVE PARTITION AS WELL AS FIXBOOT.
HOPE THIS WILL WORK 4 U
