New Helpdesk

By cgreeff ·
We're looking to implement a new helpdesk...

I've had a look at stuff like Liberium and Ilient...

Is there anything else, that's cheap but does a good job?

TrackIT is fairly cheap and works well, particully if you want a quick implementation.

I like Helpstar

by beentherebefore In reply to TrackIT

I like a little program called Helpstar you can purchase what you need and upgrade when you need to expand
Start with the access version if you are a smalll shop or Full blown SQL if you need the extra processing power
Bulit in KB and web interface etc

What do you want it to do?

Helpdesk software varies greatly. Do you just want a ticket logging system? Are you looking for problem management, asset management, etc... be more specific and I can point you in a direction.

What I'm looking for

by jbrawley In reply to What do you want it to do ...

We provide tech support for a vehicle telematics solution to Dealers/installers. We also have products we provide support for that are home automation solutions. I would like a package that allows customers to submit issues online, where customers can be directed to links for help to avoid phone calls. I would also like it to have ticket tracking and an easy knowledge base to build with. We are a very small company(11 people) and are looking for something with a small pricetag.

Richmond Supportdesk

I purchased this software for a company I worked at 3 years ago. The licenses are relatively cheap, and the software is very easy to configure out of the box, but it has lots of scope for expansion once you get into it.
