Exchange 5.5 – Windows 2000
We have 4 users out of 200 each at different locations who complain
that they are unable to see messages as they come into their mailbox.
Every 20 minutes or so they click on their In_Box (in the folders
view) and messages appear in the In_Box and the number of new
messages appears next to the In_Box name. This does not happen
unless they click on the In_Box.
As you can imagine, this is very inconvenient to these users for they
do not get mail messages right when they are sent. They have to
remember to click on their In_Box all the time to update their
mailbox.
We have uninstalled – re-installed client, deleted and re-created the user accounts in Exchange Server Admin… everything we can think of but nothing seems to help this.
