New Office Setup

By dw_chin ·
Hi,
I have the great honor of taking care of the technology side of our new totally gutted office. Any suggestions on the steps I should take and contractors for wiring would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

Been there...still doing that.

I've helped to set up several new offices, and I'm currently setting up a whole new company. So my question to you is this: How much flexibility have you been given?

I guess I want to know what you are being told here. I could give you all kinds of ideas, but if the powers that be aren't going to let you use them, then there's no point.

Can't Really Flex

by dw_chin In reply to Been there...still doing ...

Like most people I am in the confines of the "budget" Keeping it simple yet productive with expansion options is key. Basically I am having two T1 lines...one for data and the other for voice. I have been inquiring about a dial-up service for my company. Currently we have a dedicated T1 just for that but its costing way too much so I need a better solution with the same ease of use ( 800# ). I am confident with our LAN setup so that is not an issue. Getting to that point is where alittle insight is required.
