Dear community,
I’ve bought a new 250 Gb WD (WD2500BEVE) hard drive for my Dell Inspiron 8600. In the BIOS it is detected as a 137 Gb hard drive, but when I use Windows start up CD, it does not let me install the OS on it. No error messages appear; only a black screen is shown!
(It seems like the computer freezes as soon as it checks hard drive configurations). My Bios ver. is 14.
