For those of you that are into PDA's, there is big news I got from someone that works for a company that is developing a new PDA to be released later this year.

The PDA will not be manufactured by a big company (ie Compaq, HP, or Palm) and the OSis something to note as "Unique" but has been around for quite some time..

The PDA's OS is going to be Linux based.. you heard it.. Linux based.. They took the 2.2 kernal and developed a PDA OS..

From what my friend told me, he said the PDA will be A LOT cheaper than other PDA's.. The will be sold at places like Target...

I am VERY excited to see this happen, for it means a few things, Palm and Windows CE are going to have yet another competitor, AND it means good things for the Linux stock (LNUX).

You probably wont find anything on this product, but I sure hope to find out more.
