New Samsung 980 M.2 500gb slow file transfer (ca 35mb/s)

I got my first nvm ssd today.

Benchmark score is decent ( read:3170 mb/s , write: 2573 Mb/s), but why does it perform so bad, when transferring files or starting programs? Sometimes even hovering around 8mb/s.

I updated all drivers.

Tried both NVMe slots and in BIOS changed device configuration
accordingly

And I am still getting this rate.

I run across this with some antivirus suites or file system issues. I’ll share that when I get a new drive, the drive is cleaned off and we start fresh. There’s no story here about how the drive was put into service or the antivirus suite in effect.
