new user profile created

I have an on-going problem. Several of my users are logging on to a newly created profile while already having an existing account on the computer. I know how to repair the profile; however, I want to know how to prevent this from happening over and over again. I believe it is the group policy but not sure which policy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is caused by a user shutting down before the profile has completed saving.

This can be a particular issue with Roaming profiles as they already have problems with occassional packet loss.

The only thing you canreally do is to help your users understand the problem and keep their profiles clean and small.
