Why does wireless keyboard/mouse 5000 usb transceiver prevent Win7 64bit launch? It locks up at “Starting Windows,” and the Launch Repair tool also freezes.
New Keyboard and mouse work fine if transceiver inserted while Win7 is running. The 5000 is replacing a worn out 6000 of the same series. Old keyboard and mouse drivers were uninstalled, and 5000 drivers were installed.from disk and updates checked for.
