Newsgroups

Hello, I have subscribed for newsgroups but i am unable to download any files from the news groups. Outlook express is the default newsgroup reader selected, It downloads all the news groups messages, but some time some messages are attached with some files. and when i click that message what i get is all junk characters, can anyone tell me how to download files from the newsgroups using outlook express.
