nmID=2000d

Can someone tell me what does nmID=2000D mean ?
With this nmid I get, free detected node is already free or free detected corrupt preceding redzone for node. I search the novell nmids documentation and it covers nmID from 2000a,2000b,2000c and 2000e no mention of 2000d. I'm running novell 5.1 sp6.0.

While they were both on SP3 it is probably something irrelavent of service pack and looks like corruption to me. Hopefully you can print out the whole finding and get a German speaking friend to interpret.

good Luck, Peter

Errors like this usually mean that something is not playing well with the memory on the server. Usually, an nlm is not releasing memory correctly and not letting the server clean up after it.

I found five hits on support.novell.com.
1. Invalid memory pointer and trailing redzone errors running PERL scripts - TID10075001
2. Server will not load ATMELEC.LAN - TID10067285
3. Problems loading NAAS agent, as seen on server console, logger screen, and in - TID10080895
4. Error on console when MTA is loaded - TID10053032
5. ATMELEC.LAN will not initialize - TID2953363

The first one looks like it matches the closest to what you describe. If you go to support.novell.com and do a search on nmID=2000D you get the five results I've listed. You can also search by the TID number which I've included.

Well there is enough English there to see that probably your memory is corrupt. Have you added memory lately? If so replace it.
