Have a problem on a Win95OSR2 PC. For the world of it, I am unable to have the PC recognize my CD-ROM drive. It’s a Compaq Armada 1580DMT Notebook (laptop). Have tried just about any combo of command lines possible and noting. I get a message that ATAPI CD-ROM not found. The driver [cpqltecd.sys] was downloaded, a boot diskette was created, etc. No luck. Any ideas on the autoexec.bat or config.sys lines, or am I on the wrong track?
